God is good to me.

I am walking in personal revival.

I speak to the raging waters in my life, peace, be still. I say to my mind, peace, be still. I say to my emotions, peace, be still. I stay to my body, peace, be still. I say to my home, peace, be still. I say to my family, peace be still.

I uproariously laugh when I hear a lie from the devil!

I walk in ever increasing health.

I am in His heart, on His mind, and under His wing. All my needs are met in Him.

Truth Texting and Faith

My friend and I continue to Truth Text, realizing that many of our texts are in response to an internal battle. Not only do we get to encourage ourselves and each other with God's Best Truth, it is a signal and nudge that the other quite probably needs prayer.

In any event, it is a praise to the Lord each time we choose to focus on Him by faith, listen to what He says about us, and act on it. "Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him as righteousness."

Here it is, repeated how many times?

And Abram believed the LORD, and the LORD counted him as righteous because of his faith.

As promised, Fish Chowder recipe...

Never made it exactly like this before, 

but that Christmas Eve chowder was yummy!!!  

Start out with some frozen tilapia fillets, chopped in half, 

in the bottom of the crockpot on Christmas Eve morning.

In a frying pan, fry up some bite-sized bacon pieces,
then  toss in some chopped onion and celery.

Cook until soft and dump into the crockpot on top of the frozen fish pieces.

Add a can of cream of mushroom soup. Add a can of drained, diced potatoes.

Throw in some dried dill weed,

Then make up some Bear Creek Creamy Potato Soup

(according to package directions, "just add water"), 

and when it is cooked, pour it over the top of what is already in the crockpot.

Cook on low all day. 

When it is time for the evening meal, take the lid off the crockpot 

and break up the cooked fish into smaller pieces,

...and stir some canned wild salmon into the mixture. Oh yeah.

Truth Texting, Truth Tweeting

A dear friend of mine and I were speaking of the need to encourage ourselves and each other by remembering what Daddy God says about us in His Word. So we decided to text one another from time to time as we were  needing to encourage ourselves, and share the inspiration with each other. Not a religious exercise, but a relationship connection. No compulsion, just pure delight. And it has been!

Here are some of our texts:

I am beloved of the Lord. His banner over me is love that covers a a multitude of sins.

I walk humbly with my God Who gives grace to help in time of need.

I am not of this world. I am a daughter of the Lord God Almighty.

I  can rest in Him even when I'm working. I am anxious for nothing.

My angels are carrying out the word of God in my behalf.

I apply and cover my life problems with God's word, knowing God will deliver and redeem!

I am free from condemnation and hidden with Christ in God!

Mercy, grace, and peace are multiplied to me.

No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and I am complete in Christ.

Earth School for the Stars

There once was a Star Baby named Zee. When it was her time, she had been shot like an arrow from her True Home in the heavenlies to land among her brothers and sisters. They had been sent before her to the Earth School for the Stars, and a few had gathered to meet their new little sister.

Some of them were quite happy to see her arrive, immensely pleased in fact. Oooing and ahhhing, smiling at her and hugging her with delight. Others were not entirely sure they were comfortable around her. A few were downright jealous, and others were just plain mean. Then there were those who didn't care a whit, and just walked right on by.

What a mixed reception for this most important event! 

Zee was amazed 

-- but already she was learning her first lesson: 

Not everyone will like you, 

but there are some who will 

welcome you with open hearts and arms.
